Sentence to death - to be executed, মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেয়া

Put to death - execute, হত্যা করা (শাস্তিস্বরূপ)।

Beat to death - পিটিয়ে হত্যা করা। 

Poison to death - বিষপান করিয়ে হত্যা করা। 

Stab to death - ছুরিকাঘাতে হত্যা করা। 

Chop/Hack to death - কুপিয়ে হত্যা করা। 

Stone to death - পাথর মেরে হত্যা করা। 

Club to death - লাঠি দিয়ে পিঠিয়ে হত্যা করা।

Crush to death - পিষ্ঠ হয়ে মারা যাওয়া। 

Burn to death - আগুনে পুড়িয়ে মারা।

Strangle to death - শ্বাসরোধ করে হত্যা করা 

Choke to death - নিঃশ্বাস বন্ধ হয়ে (অক্সিজেনের অভাবে) মারা যাওয়া।

(তাকে মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেয়া হয়েছিল) 

The rebels were put to death.

(বিদ্রোহীদেরকে মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেয়া হয়েছিল) 

The prisoner will be put to death at dawn. 

(ভোরে কয়েদিটিকে মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেয়া হবে)

Two children and a woman were burnt to death in the fire. 

The victims were poisoned to death.

The victim was clubbed to death with a cricket bat.
